What they're teaching in school these days

Abraham Lincolnton, aka Pres. John Tyler Uno has been learning about the presidents of the United States in preschool these last two weeks. Yesterday she brought home a fancy ruler with a portrait of each POTUS on the back of it.

"Look," she said, pointing to the first one. "That's George Washington. He was our first president. This one," she said, pointing to John Tyler, "is Abraham Lincolnton." I asked her if she knew who our president was now, and she pointed to the last guy: "George Waterbush!" she proudly declared.

Awesome. Hail to the chief.

Is it wrong that I never correct her on these sorts of things? I still haven't let her know that the number between seven and nine is eight rather than ain't....
