Remember me?

It's time for another tag! This one comes courtesy of my friend Kristi.

To play along, simply add a comment on my blog and leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, or whether we've ever met IRL or only online. If you don't have a blogger account, leave a comment as anonymous and sign your name. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you!

I tag anyone who plays my game, of course, but specifically Mrs. McMitchell and K2. :-)

I remember back in the day when I would go with you to different poetry reading things. I remember one that was at a round church of some denomination that at my young and tender age I didn't know existed (I can't recall which it even was now). And one time when I went to a reading and the author had two tiny pet dogs in her purse and I thought the alcohol was lemonade :-D Haha, good times!

LOVE YOU!

Oh! Those were good times! I'm pretty sure the round church was Mt. Tabor Lutheran church in downtown SLC, and the author with the tiny dogs, IIRC, was Amy Tan. I loved having you come with me to those! :-)

I remember one very specific day in the singles ward, when we were sitting in the back of Sunday School, writing notes and giggling uncontrollably~to the point of sobbing!~over a line in the movie we were watching:

"I seem to have lost my husband!"

ROFLMAO!

Also driving around and yelling certain special words of fondness at a certain someone's house. Hee hee...;)

I miss our long night-time drives to nowhere in particular. And sometimes to Corner 22 for Dr. Pepsi.

I remember the day you left to move to St. Louis. You and I went to Burt Brothers to pick up your car, I think you bought me a Dr. Pepper (because you were always so nice like that!) And then I remember going home, and bawling my eyes out on the front porch when you were leaving.

Man, I don't handle people moving away very well, do I?!

Love ya, Seester!

I'm sorry to say my memories of my wedding day are quite fuzzy so I don't recall meeting you in the flesh, but my first memory of you is a Christmas letter and a picture of you in front of your new car. I had only been married a few months and wondered "who is this girl that sends us pics of her car??:)

There are so many memories to choose from that I am really having a hard time with this assignment. How do you boil down 20 years of undying friendship into a few memories? You don't I guess so here are a few:

1. The very first note you sent me when I was at home sick with Mono. That was so sweet of you when you didn't even know me that well.
2. Hanging out in the library during those stupid Jr. High dances and talking about boys.
3. Going to the airport with me (sluffing school) when my Dad had to leave after brining Myrtle from Oregon. That was such an emotional day for me and you made it better.
4. The whole time we lived in KC together. I can't think of anyone (besides Mrs. McMitchell) that I would want to live with. It was a rockin good time!

I love you and I am so blessed to call you my friend. I hope you and I are always close! LOVES YOU!
