My very kind parents came up on Wednesday to assist with the Springtime party, and the whole thing went off without a hitch! The weather even cooperated. (Monday it had been in the mid 70s and beautiful. Tuesday, mid 70s and breezy. Wednesday's forecast called for a high of 42 and a rain / snow mix. Grrrrrr. But, while it was cool and grey clouds loomed threateningly at the edges of our fair valley, it stayed dry for the party and we got to have our outside play time after all. Yay!)
12 screamy, excitable preschoolers (Uno plus ten classmates plus Dos) for 2-1/2 hours and everyone was kept happy and entertained and for the most part injury free.
*PHEW!*
Now remind me never to do that again. ;-)

Don't ever do that again! ;) Hehehe...just kidding. I find it amusing that you'd rather entertain 12 hyper kids than talk to someone on the phone. Although I guess you'd still have to entertain someone's kid if you were calling them for a playdate, right? And I'm still ridiculously afraid of balloons, so...
