A barn just up the street from us
We saw lots of butterflies and pretty birds, but the birds wouldn't hold still long enough to have their portraits taken
I liked the way the softness of the willow (both in form and color) contrasts with the two sculpted trees in the foreground
Inspired by the abstract photos of David Librach and others, I'm trying to train my eye to see textures and shapes rather than my usual very literal images; this white shed door is a start
I like these weeds even better

Thanks for looking! :-)

Sis, I LOVE your abstract photos, they are so great! I tend to like to to take those kinds of pictures... I'm not sure why, I just think they are cool looking.
I hope to be as good a photographer as you someday!
See, and I love your abstract photos! This probably betrays how artistic I'm not, but I hardly ever think to look at things that way. Lately I've been really concentrating on seeing more than just what's there, and I'm happy with the results, but it does still feel forced. :-P Someday I'll be cool like you!
I like your abstract photos too! I'm trying to improve my photog skills too, but I'm focusing on plants and food mostly because I usually don't take very good pics of those. I think it helps when you have a good camera though!
My favorite is the one of the weeds. It could be a winter scene (like a snowy tree branch or something) but it has that unexpected green background, so I had to look at it closely. Art! Nice. :)
I have yet to see a pic by you that I haven't liked. You are so good, and you have a great eye. I like them all!
I love the new layout, by the way.
