Tres started to fuss in her bouncy seat as I made dinner tonight (feijoada, yum!), so I started singing to her. It occurred to me that these are the songs I've sung all my babies, and always more or less in the same order. I am the human mix tape, lol.

Occasionally I'll throw in an extra tune or two, depending on my mood, but if any of my girls remember their infancy, these are the songs that will sound like home.

That is sweet
So sweet. You should come sing to my baby. You are my Sunshine was Alex's song. Surry with a Fringe on Top was Spencer's. All through the Night was Sarah's. Child's Prayer is Nathan's. If I sing the wrong song to one they will correct me and say something like, "That's Alex's song."
