Quote book quote

Uno and I were looking through my Parenting magazine together when I stopped to read a bit of one of the articles.

"Mom," she said, "turn the page."

"Hold on," I said, "I'm reading this."

Pause.

"So read it then," she said.

"I am. I'm reading it to myself, in my head."

She leaned up close to me and put her head on mine. I figured she was just being cuddly while she waited for me to turn the page. But nope.

"Mom," she said, lifting her head up again. "I don't hear anything in there. I think you're doing it wrong."
