Easter "postcards," from our home to yours

The girls dyed eggs on Saturday:

Uno patiently waits for her eggs to finish

Uno laughs about her messy hands

Dos very carefully dips her egg

Dos contemplating the wonder of colored eggs

Easter eggs colored by Uno and Dos

On Sunday, they wore their new matching dresses:

Uno, fomenting her own dance dance revolution as the Whirling Dirvish of the West

'Pretend like you love each other,' I said, and voila!

Uno is ready for her closeup

Dos, on the other hand, was not

Happy Easter! We miss you! Wish you were here!

Awwww! Your girls are the cutest! I wish Dana had a wee sister to dress up and be pretty with. Soon...soon. :)

BTW, you are super brave to dye eggs with little kids. Dana helped me put candy in the fake eggs, but that was it. I'm too much of a wuss. (Plus no one will eat boiled eggs at our house.)

Actually I was only brave about the egg dyeing because I was stupid about it last year: I had them do it in regular clothes on a bare table in our kitchen. Big messy disaster! So this year they wore clothes that barely fit (white tops on both of them, so we could bleach them if necessary), put old towels down over the table, and did it outside. No problem!

And plus I like hard boiled eggs. The girls pretend to, then take one bite and declare them disgusting before asking if they can peel another. ??? But our eggs did all get eaten by Wednesday, so no waste. :-)
