Check out the laundry chute and the study on this one! How fun is that?
That's all for today, I promise. ;-)

Ok... I think this one is my favorite! How fun is that bay window! And the study!! I want to build a house!
:D
OK, here we go! This one looks pretty functional to me. Good sized rooms, you know, not too small. But for sure you will need that second garage.
The WIC's are nice, but I think you might want the 4 bedroom option instead (and the rooms are still decent sized, not too small with the 4 bdrm option. The 4th bdrm is the smallest is probably close to the same size as the one you had when you lived with me).
Also, a study is a nice thing to have so the kids can do their homework, but do you really want them traipsing through your bedroom all the time to get there?
You might want to turn the dining room into a multi-purpose room. One that can be dining room when you want it, but mostly a homework space otherwise. Consider lining the walls with bookcases. I've got some pictures somewhere of a dining room/library room that are gorgeous!
Then maybe the official study could be dh's if he needs for all his doctory stuff? Or just turn it into an observatory! Now that's MY dreamhouse! One with an observatory for amateur astronomy!!!
Ok, off to look at the next ones!
OOOH, I love this one. I love the secret tower study idea, and the wrap around porch out front (completely a necessity if I'm going to splash out and build a house from scratch).
The biggest plus is that the entrance flows into the Family Room and not the dining room. That's one big pet peeve I have about most house designs, is that the front hall or foyer goes into the dining room...how boring is that? No one wants to look at your matching table and chairs when they come in to visit. Not that you couldn't turn the dining room into a sitting room or something, but they make the other rooms cozy on purpose for hanging out.
That's just my two cents. :)
This one is much better. A laundry chute AND a secret study. I wonder if it could be converted to a dark room????
