Blessings

We briefly interrupt this series of birth stories to bring you a photo of Tres in her christening gown. She was blessed in church last Sunday, November 4, by her father. She wore a dress made by my best friend Mrs. McMitchell from scraps of fabric from my wedding dress (which itself was lovingly made by my other best friend's mom, a second mother to me, Momalue); Uno and Dos also wore this dress when they were each blessed.

Tres in her christening gown

The photo is a quadtone rather than a strict black-and-white. Any thoughts on this treatment? Should I try to brighten her face a little or leave it as is?

Not that I'm at all biased, but she's a pretty baby, isn't she? ::LOVE:: :-)

Oh! So pretty! I wish you could be my photographer. I love the tone of it, too. I'm still sad that the dress is a lot big...it was hard to guess sizes from across the Atlantic. You just need to have bigger babies! ;) I am also sad that my next one won't get to wear my wee girl's gown. Although that would be very Catholic of me to put him in a dress for his blessing, wouldn't it? Or would that just be mean? I bet the Utahns would freak out. Hee hee. :)

She is a doll! I can't believe all of that dark hair! And the dress is amazing....I still have my wedding dress waiting to be made into something...but I seem to have boys so I can't think of anything to use it for.
