See? Now this is why I've always thought of you in a more contemporary type home! Precisely because you do seem to be drawn to works like these!

So, you gonna buy some??? Huh? Huh? Huh? Are ya? Are ya?

Well how can you NOT like those? The colors! The whimsy! The ambiance! I just can't help but like it. :-)

Still, I do think I'm *somewhat* traditional in my decorating taste because while I love modernistic, abstract art (of the right sort) I don't particularly gravitate toward "modern" furniture so much. For substantial things like furniture, I want it solid and classic.

I do want to buy some of this. I don't know what DH would think of it -- haven't shown it to him yet -- but if it were entirely up to me, I'd love to have one in the living room. Barring that, it's certainly cheerful enough for the girls' room or the playroom.... And I'd love, love, love to have an original (how cool would that be, what with the texture of the paint and whatnot!) but I'm sure that would get a thumbs down for $$$ reasons. (Though hey, it would be cheaper than the camera I want, lol!)

*Sigh!*

Seriously, though, do you love it? Or is it just me? How can it be just me? It's so beautiful! :-D

You think modern furniture isn't solid and classic? I think you might have a different image in your head than I do.

Modern can be fun and has been around for quite a while now that certain shapes could be considered classic in my opinion.

I certainly don't see you in a sterile, cold, hard type modern setting.

But still, even though you say you prefer more classic, there's just part of you that beats to that different drummer and I'd love to see you marry the classic with a little bit of that in your home! THAT would be hip, cool and stunning!!!

I'm not much for modern art, but those are pretty nifty looking.

I'd buy one, but they don't match anything in my house.

But you can buy one and I can live vicariously through you!!
